Kids’ pottery classes (ages 6+)

On Saturday mornings, Oktana welcomes children aged six and over for two hours of working with clay. They explore the material with their hands, try ideas, change shapes and discover how a ceramic object begins.

What happens in the studio

Children learn basic handbuilding techniques through making. They discover how clay feels, how parts are joined and how a shape can develop step by step, with guidance along the way. The focus is on the process rather than producing identical results.

This is a handbuilding class, not a pottery-wheel session. No prior experience is needed.
