Classes & Workshop Booking Terms
Oktana is a working ceramic studio. Classes and workshops take place at a specific date and time, with places reserved for the people who book them.
Direct Oktana bookings
Direct bookings are made through https://book.oktanapottery.com/v2/.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Direct bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled without charge up to 3 hours before the scheduled start time.
Cancellations made less than 3 hours before the scheduled start time, and failure to attend without notice, are non-refundable.
Free rescheduling is not available within 3 hours of the scheduled start.
Leisure service and the 14-day withdrawal right
A leisure service booked for a specific date or period may fall within the statutory exception to the ordinary 14-day distance withdrawal right that applies to many online goods purchases.
That legal exception is separate from Oktana's commercial cancellation and rescheduling policy above.
If Oktana cancels
If Oktana cancels a direct class or workshop, the customer may choose either a refund or rescheduling to another available date.
Late arrival
Please arrive in time for the booked start. Late arrival may mean you miss part of the session. We do not guarantee an extension beyond the booked end time.
Age
Age requirements follow the specific class or workshop listing. Do not assume one global age rule for every session.
Safety
Participants must follow reasonable studio and instructor safety instructions.
Ceramic outcomes
Ceramics change during drying and firing. Small shifts in colour, surface or form are part of the process, and occasional cracking or firing loss can occur.
Where a workshop includes firing, glazing, collection or an exchange piece, the booking description states what that session includes. Services not listed in the booking are not promised.
Photography
Participation does not automatically grant Oktana permission to use a person's identifiable image for marketing. If photography consent is wanted, it is obtained separately.
Third-party marketplace bookings
Some workshops are also offered through GetYourGuide and may appear on other marketplaces. Cancellation, refund and customer-service administration for a marketplace booking are handled according to the terms shown on that marketplace.
